First Time at FBCWC?

We know that attending a church service for the first time can be a super scary thing — especially if you don’t know what to expect. We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at our Sunday worship services. You can engage with others as much as you want, or remain anonymous if you prefer. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus. At First Baptist Church West Carrollton, you can expect friendly and authentic people, engaging and relevant music and worship, compelling preaching from the Bible, and an opportunity to encounter God. You will be encouraged and maybe even challenged.

"Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the Glory of God"

ROMANS 15:7

Authentic Worship

We look for God’s love in our lives as the evidence that we have been truly worshipping Him. At FBCWC, worship means learning to recognize God’s goodness while delighting to deepen in our responses.  We use music & voices to praise God through singing of traditional hymns & contemporary Christian favorites.

Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; tell of his wonderous works!

-PSALM 105:2

Teaching from Scripture

Our Sunday service typically lasts about an hour.  Pastor Scott teaches expositionally through the books of the Bible. This means we study each Bible book chapter-by-chapter and verse-by-verse. We believe the Bible is the holy word of God. Expository preaching does more than explain the text; it teaches the church how to interpret & explain the text as well.

Until I get there, focus on reading the Scriptures to the church, encouraging the believers, and teaching them.

-1 Timothy 4:13

What Should I Wear?

Whatever you feel most comfortable in! You'll find others dressed in shorts, t-shirts, jeans, or at most business casual.

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?

-MATTHEW 6:25
